The Countach revolutionised sports car design. Its wedge shape, the distinctive NACA ducts, the forward position of the driver, the upward opening doors and its flambouyant looks are the stuff of legend. One of the most instantly recognisable cars ever produced and one that will turn heads over 30 years later.

The original LP400 design was a sensation when first seen. A truly stunning, jaw dropping car. Throughout its life Countach was added to as it had to cope with more and more power. The LP 400S & LP5000 sported add on flared wheelarches and side skirts to clothe the much wider tyres and it also gained a rear wing to help traction.The last Countach was the Anniversary model which was released in 1988. It is visually different from previous Countach's. Mainly seen by looking at the straked air intakes. to most, this is a disappointing version of the Countach compared to the others, however it was only outsold by the 5000QV model.
