The Cortina Mk V never officially existed. It was a modernising of the Mk IV design and appeared in late 1979. It was given the Mk V tag by owners and the public alike and offered various improvments and changes.
Notes
The Cortina Mk V continued with the estate car theme, always a popular option amongst Cortiona buyers. There was also a pick-up version called the P100 which continued to sell after Cortina had been replaced by Sierra.
